Process Management

Our Process Management offerings focus on the definition and implementation of processes to ensure quality and consistency at all stages of the software development lifecycle. These processes cover requirements capture, assessment and prioritisation, documentation, testing and distribution, areas which should be considered to be the "Release Management" aspect of software development. This model views the actual code development as a distinctly separate area and introduces a level of formality needed for the release management functions to be effective.

We believe strongly that processes should always be a support rather than a constraint and that there should be an emphasis on aiding, rather than restricting, the delivery of quality software solutions. We propose processes that are appropriate for the specific skills and requirements of individual clients rather than trying to impose a standard solution in each case.

The cornerstone of our philosophy on software delivery is "Expectation Management", regardless of whether delivery is to an internal or an external client. A good quality software release may be compromised if it doesn't contain exactly what the end-client expected or isn't delivered within the timescales anticipated. It is extremely important to understand the expectations of the end-client, change them if necessary and then meet them.

We are also able to provide project and programme management for any size and duration of project.
